John Ruskin Prize 2014

28th June to 12th October 2014.

I have had three prints shortlisted for the John Ruskin Prize 2014 at the Millennium Gallery, Sheffield.
Partnering a major V&A exhibition RECORDING BRITAIN NOW

Celebrating the city’s connection with the artist, critic and scholar John Ruskin, the Millennium Gallery hosts an exhibition of work shortlisted for the 2014 John Ruskin Prize.

Recording Britain Now will see artists present fresh, contemporary visions of their urban, rural or social environment. The exhibition of finalists’ works goes on show alongside the major V&A touring exhibition Recording Britain, which chronicles the changing face of the nation during the Second World War.

Established by Campaign for Drawing, in collaboration with the Guild of St George, the John Ruskin Prize is open to all amateur and professional artists 18 years and over, living and working in the UK.

Congratulations to Maggie Hargreaves for winning the John Ruskin Prize 2014 and also Mandy Payne for receiving a highly commended.
