Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2015

A bit of good news!

I have had two prints shortlisted in the first stage of the selection process for The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.

Not submitted for the last three years (but commended in 2012), instead deciding to concentrate on my project at Monks Cross, using my time to study, research and develop a cohesive body of work.

Two small prints about Vangarde, Monks Cross have been submitted, titled 'An Impact on the Landscape' and 'Wide Expanse with 300 newts'.

Next stage is delivery using Picture Post, based in Doncaster.

Phew! Got through the final stage. Just waiting to hear if both or either of the works get hanging space. Really hope it goes in my favour.

Only a few weeks to wait.

Very nearly there! Delighted to have got through but unfortunately not hung.
